Sunstar World Dental Hygienists Award

There are 3 prizes as part of the Sunstar World Dental Hygienists Award:

Research Award (USD5000):
1. Research paper on dental hygiene: The paper may include both quantitative and qualitative analyses that provide important
new insights that contribute to the body of knowledge in dental hygiene.

Project Award (USD3000):
2. Report on project activities that contributed to promoting oral health: The report should provide details of the activities that have made a key contribution to patients, the dental community or to the general public. The positive impact of the activities on the health condition of a significant number of individuals should be empirically demonstrated. This Award is open to individuals as well as groups of dental hygienists who have made notable accomplishments in any area of oral health promotion, including counselling,
supporting, education, innovation, research, prevention and treatment.

Student Award (USD2000):
3. Report by students of dental hygiene schools: The report can cover an activity or volunteer work performed that contributed to the oral health of the public/patients or can be an essay on dental hygiene leadership and professional development. Themes may include visions or hopes for the future in the field of dental hygiene
